Overview
Flo Factory Scouting is a custom desktop application I designed and developed for Flo Factory Sports to streamline college athlete discovery, performance monitoring, prospect evaluation, and NIL (Name, Image & Likeness) partnership management. It centralizes athlete information across NCAA football, men's basketball, and women's basketball, combining data analytics, automated workflows, customizable scoring, and an intuitive interface in one platform. The software is functional on Windows 11 with a working offline demonstration mode. Commercial live-data deployment and compliance review are still pending.
The Challenge
Researching athletes, tracking their performance, following transfer activity, and managing NIL partnerships typically means juggling scattered sources and spreadsheets. Flo Factory needed one place to turn that complex athlete information into actionable business intelligence.
The Solution
An all-in-one desktop platform built with AI-assisted software engineering: a Command Center dashboard, a searchable prospect database, Sportradar API support for real-time statistics, a custom Flo Score evaluation algorithm, transfer portal tracking, a drag-and-drop NIL pipeline, automated alerts, and reporting with CSV export. All data is stored privately in a secure local database on the device.
